Airman 1st Class Marcus Higa, 52nd Fighter Wing ground safety technician has been named the 52nd FW Top Saber Performer for the week of May 23-30.

Why I joined: I joined the Air Force because I wanted to travel and to further my education for free.
Family: My mom, dad, two sisters (one who is enlisted in the Army) and an older brother
Hobbies: Body boarding, Surfing (which I can't do here) and any type of outdoor activities
Favorite Aspect of my job: My favorite aspect of my job is getting out to all the squadrons while doing inspections and getting to see what type of jobs people do. Some people have really cool jobs.
Most Memorable Air Force Experience: Finding out I was going to be stationed overseas in Europe. All my life I lived on a small rock in the middle of the ocean, and knew it would be a new experience and a great opportunity to take advantage of.
