The 2008 Spangdahlem Airman & Family Readiness Center Job Fair will be held Aug. 21, 11a.m.-2 p.m., at Bldg. 42 on Spangdahlem. The A&FRC has been working with many base agencies to put together a one-stop-shop for anyone seeking employment in the Eifel. This year the Job Fair will also offer several new features including opportunities for spouses, dependents, retirees, separatees and volunteer opportunities.

Each year the A&FRC gathers agencies to attend and recruit applicants for positions on Spangdahlem and Bitburg. Agencies participating this year include: AAFES, Civilian Personnel Office, DECA, NAF Human Resources Office, Bitburg High Schools Community Bank, Service Credit Union, and more. New this year, headhunting agencies KBR and Northrup Grumman will be present and recruit those interested in employment both stateside and overseas.  Individuals interested in speaking with theses agencies are encouraged to bring a resume.

While the main purpose of job fair is to match employers with potential hires, colleges, universities and service organizations will also be present for those interested in networking, building their resumes, or getting involved in the community. The American Red Cross, the Education Center, Girl Scouts, Officer and Civilian Spouses' Club, Spangdahlem Spouses and Enlisted Members' Club, and area universities are just a few of the agencies that will be represented Aug. 21.
