Name: Senior Airman David Chavez Unit: 52d Aerospace Medicine Squadron Duty title: Public Health Journeyman Hometown: San Salvador, El Salvador and Battle Mountain, Nevada Years in Service: 3 years and 3 months Why joined: To serve and to make my family proud Family: Mother, Father and 3 sisters Hobbies: Playing baseball, soccer, flag football, and traveling Favorite aspect of job: Getting the opportunity to interact with different 52 FW members from all over base and giving them the best medical care. Most memorable AF experience: When I first arrived at Spangdahlem Air Base, the Safety Office was doing a retirement ceremony and needed a couple of bodies to help out at the last minute. I volunteered and in return I was coined for the first time in my military career.
