Oct. 31: The time for trick-or-treating on Spangdahlem Air Base and Bitburg Annex, as well as in Speicher and Binsfeld, is 6-8 p.m. Nov. 1: The Army and Air Force Exchange Service will have a scheduled system outage affecting the ESSO Fuel Ration Card System from 5 a.m. Nov. 1 to 9 a.m. Nov. 2. Between these hours, customers will not be able to purchase fuel on base or at local ESSO stations, and will not be able to receive new fuel ration cards. The outage will occur when the U.S. observes the end of daylight saving time and is necessary to reset system clocks and perform necessary maintenance. Nov. 2: ADAC will be offering free winter vehicle checks 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Nov. 2 and 15 on the Saber Driving Course to include checking tires, brake fluid, lights, batteries, antifreeze conditions, and a child safety seat check for proper installation. ADAC has offered this service free of charge to Sabers. The Army and Air Force Exchange Service will present door prizes and have safety equipment available for purchase. Nov. 2: There will be a 52nd Fighter Wing Quarterly Awards Luncheon 11:30 a.m. Nov. 2 at Club Eifel.
