Saber earns incentive flight

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Master Sgt. Jason R. Hall, 52nd Equipment Maintenance Squadron, received an incentive flight Oct. 30 for winning the 52nd Fighter Wing NCO of the Quarter and 52nd Maintenance Group Lance P. Sijan Leadership Awards.

Duty title: A-10 Thunderbolt II Maintenance Section Chief

Hometown: Pineville, Mo.

Years in Service: 12 years

Why I joined: I never aspired to go to college, but always desired a challenge. The Air Force gave me a challenge and afforded me opportunities I never thought possible.

Family: Wife, Amy, daughters Layla and Makayla, and son, Bryce Hobbies: Motocross, golf and travel

Favorite aspect of job: Giving Airmen expectations and feedback and watching them grow and achieve great things

Most memorable Air Force experience: September 11, 2008, I won the John L. Levitow Award at the NCO Academy and also found out that I made master sergeant. I was also recently selected for Officer Training School to become a maintenance officer.

Favorite part of F-16 flight: Take-off was awesome, but the best part was the maneuvering - loops, Immelmann turns and barrel rolls.

Description of experience: It was an awesome experience getting to see the operations side of sortie production. I have a greater appreciation for both crew chiefs and pilots that pull off this amazing feat every day.
