Facelift: Library reopens after carpet replacement
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Kelly Primmer, wife of Staff Sgt. David Primmer, 81st Fighter Squadron, browses through books for her daughter at the library here after the reopening Feb. 21. The library closed Jan. 30 for a $117,321 carpet-replacement project. Contractors replaced the 30-year-old carpet because of general wear and tear. Base members may now use the facility, which offers hard-copy books, CDs, DVDs, movies, downloadable e-books, audio MP3 books, children’s books, internet access and online databases for research.
