Leaders encourage participation for OHA survey Published March 30, 2012 By Staff Reports 52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- The annual overseas housing allowance utility and recurring maintenance survey for U.S. service members who live in privately-leased homes takes place April 1-30. The purpose of the survey is to update Germany's OHA utility allowance, ensuring that valid rates are paid. This is service members' opportunity to have the impact of utilities and recurring maintenance costs included in the resulting updated utility allowances. While the survey is voluntary, service members are requested and encouraged to participate. In order for the survey to result in valid rates, every eligible service member should provide his or her utility and recurring maintenance expenses. Individual responses are held in confidence and not shared with any other office or agency. The survey should take no longer than 30 to 40 minutes to complete. To access the survey, follow https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/aprutil.cfm after April 1. For more information, call William A.
