Health is important, ask your pet
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Sally Alldredge, Spangdahlem Veterinary Clinic head receptionist, feeds milk to an abandoned kitten inside the clinic here April 20. Alldredge and coworkers volunteered to take care of a litter of abandoned kittens in their free time so the kittens can find homes with families from around the base. The clinic cares for Department of Defense privately owned pets and military working dogs with services ranging from nail clippings to elective surgeries such as dental work, spaying and neutering. Spangdahlem AB members are required to register their pets with the clinic within 14 days of the pet’s arrival on station. Clinic hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Dillon Davis/Released)
