Name: Tech. Sgt. William Blazejewski Jr.

Unit: 606th Air Control Squadron

Duty title: NCO in charge of quality assurance

Hometown:
Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Years in Service: Nine years

Why joined: I joined the Air Force so I could get a quality education and for the chance to serve my country.

Family: My family is my father, William; mother, Laurie; brothers David and Ryan; sister, Jessica; and my dog, Lilly.

Hobbies: Working out, reading, spending time with friends and family and traveling.

Favorite aspect of job: I like being able to mentor and share experiences with fellow Airman and NCOs.

Most memorable Air Force experience: My best experience happened while I was working at my first duty assignment at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. I was given a tour of the illustrious U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit multi-role heavy bomber aircraft and also given the opportunity to sit in the cockpit.

How do you make responsible choices: I make responsible choices by surrounding myself with people who live our core values. When I go out, I go with my wingman and stick with the plan, but we always have backup plan just in case.
