SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Two Airmen were killed and one Airman was injured at around 10:16 a.m., Sept. 30, in a car accident on Perimeter Road near the passenger terminal.
The names of the dead and injured are being withheld until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.
The surviving member was airlifted to a hospital in Koblenz according to the Base Defense Operations Center.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
