Chief Master Sergeant MARY A. TRENT

CMSgt Mary A. Trent is the Command Chief of the 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. As the Wing’s Senior Enlisted Leader, she is the primary advisor to the commander on all matters concerning operations, health, morale, welfare, readiness, training, quality of life, professional development, and utilization of more than 5,000 personnel assigned to the Wing. Her leadership is essential to the appropriate maintenance, employment, and deployment of F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and $6 billion of assets used in support of United States and North Atlantic Treaty Organization missions. The wing supports the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe with mission-ready personnel and systems providing expeditionary air power for suppression of enemy air defenses, counterair, air interdiction, and close-air support.

Chief Trent entered the Air Force in September 1996 and graduated from the Security Forces Apprentice course in February 1997 as a Security Specialist. Her background includes duties as a Squadron Senior Enlisted, Nuclear Operations Superintendent, Flight Chief, Patrolmen, Resources Advisor, Security Forces Evaluator, Security Forces Instructor, Desk Sergeant, Entry Controller, Security Escort and Camper Alert Team. Prior to her current position, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 90th Security Forces Group, Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.  Chief Trent has deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation NEW DAWN and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
