Colonel TOMMY V. S. MARSHALL II

Colonel Tommy V.S. Marshall II is the Commander, 52nd Mission Support Group, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.  The group's seven squadrons support United States and North Atlantic Treaty Organization missions across 13 countries and 33 locations by providing engineering, communications, contracting, force support, logistics, force protection, and air base support options. The group is responsible for improving the well-being of the local community of 4,000 assigned personnel and their families at Spangdahlem Air Base, and more than 5,000 Americans and Canadians in the north central European Tri-border area.

Colonel Marshall received his commission in 2002 as a distinguished graduate from the ROTC program at Baylor University. He is two-time graduated squadron commander and a fully qualified joint service officer who has served in various positions at the squadron, group, major command, sub-unified command, combatant command, and Department of Defense agency levels. Prior to his assignment, Colonel Marshall was the Director of Communication and Information, Director of Cyberspace Forces for the Headquarters Seventh Air force and the Deputy Director, Combined Communications and Information for the Combined Air Component Command, Osan Air Base, Korea.
