The Public Affairs office provides appointment-only sessions for official studio portraits. The studio is open the following days and times:
- Mondays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. for head and shoulders only.
- Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. for full length only and 1-4 p.m. for head and shoulders only.
A photo is categorized as "official" if it meets any of the following requirements: if an individual is required to have one on file by Air Force Instruction [ex: commanders, biography photos, etc.]; if the photo is for a group-level award or higher; or if the photo is for special duty packages. For special duty packages, please let us know the photo requirements when you schedule your appointment.
If you cannot make your session for any reason, please call us to cancel or reschedule prior to the scheduled appointment time. For more information or to set up an appointment, call DSN 452-6555.

* Per AFI 35-109, 5.3.3 -- Any film or digital photographic cameras, video cameras, and photographic printer purchases must be approved by your base's Public Affairs office.
To request approval, send an e-mail to 52cs.scsv@spangdahlem.af.mil containing the following information:
1. Product type, make and model
2. Price
3. Purpose

To recommend a story idea or submit an article or photograph for consideration on the base website or in the Saber e-Herald, please email 52fw.panews@spangdahlem.af.mil or call DSN 452-6012.
For media requests, questions, training or other media-related information, call DSN 452-4251.

To request photo or video support, please complete the highlighted sections of the AF Form 833, available by clicking the image above. Digitally sign and date section 24 and e-mail the form to 52cs.scsv@spangdahlem.af.mil. Printed copies can also be dropped off at the Public Affairs office.
Public Affairs can also loan out photo equipment to your unit if we are unable to support your request. To request self-help equipment, call DSN 452-6555. |

Public Affairs can publicize events on the base website, the Saber E-Herald, the Commander's Access Channel and the Spangdahlem Air Base Facebook page. Please include as much information as possible in your request. To request publicity for an event fill out the Publicity Request Form, available by clicking the image above, and email it to 52fw.publicity2@spangdahlem.af.mil. |

To request permission to set up a social media site [ex: Facebook, Twitter, etc.], please complete the USAFE web 2.0 coordination form*, available by emailing 52fw.paoffice@spangdahlem.af.mil. Digitally sign and date the approve/disapprove section on page 2 and email the form to Public Affairs at the email address above.
Justification for requests should include, at a minimum, the requesting unit and name of page administrators, what the page will be used for and why your needs cannot be met by using the official Spangdahlem Air Base Facebook page.
