DIVULJE TRAINING BASE, Croatia – U.S. Air Force Maj. Michael Petro, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, installs a tent support beam April 30. The tents are Expeditionary Medical Squadron (EMEDS) +10 tents designed to provide patient care for ten or more people as a mobile field hospital. He is deployed here for the 2008 Medical Training Exercise in Central and Eastern Europe (MEDCEUR). Fifteen nations are participating in the exercise from May 2 through 14. The exercise focuses on mass-casualty training scenarios and humanitarian aid in response to crises situations.
