7/25/2012 - SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airman 1st Class Shelby Richardson, 52nd Medical Operations Squadron family health clinic technician, tests the throat of Staff Sgt. Rebekah Crawford, 52nd MDOS family health clinic technician, using a tongue depressor here July 24. This test is called a throat culture and is conducted to ensure the patient does not have strep throat. The clinic conducts a number of procedures including blood pressure, echo-cardio-grams, toe-nail-removals, vasectomies, allergy and immunization injections among other procedures. The MDOS mission is to promote Airmen and family readiness through quality medical care maximizing readiness and supporting healthy communities.
