4/7/2011 - SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany --
Super Saber Performer
Name: Staff Sgt. Joshua E. Briscoe
Unit: 52nd Equipment Maintenance Squadron
Duty title: Aircraft Metals Technology Craftsman
Hometown: Beaumont, Texas
Years in Service: Six years
Why joined: I wanted to serve my country and see the world.
Family: Mother, Liz, five sisters and two brothers.
Hobbies: Traveling while being a guide for ITT trips, flying and constructing remote controlled helicopters, working out and playing football.
Favorite aspect of job: Using our Waterjet and computer numerically controlled machines to manufacture aircraft parts and local manufacturer tools to .0001 tolerance, which is pretty small!
Most memorable Air Force experience: Airman Leadership School. I liked it because for once I got a chance to see members of the same flight work toward the same goal, and at the same time we had fun.
How do you make responsible choices: I make responsible choices by learning from the mistakes of others, as well as my own.
