Summer Strike bowling
A summer strike bowling event takes place now until Aug. 15 at the base bowling center. People can play for just $1 certain nights of the week and be entered to win prizes. Baltic Sea fishing trip
A fishing trip to the Baltic Sea takes place May 24-26. The cost is $175 and includes transportation, gear, one day on a large fishing boat and one over night in a pension-type hotel. Passports are required. For more information, call DSN 452-7170 or 06565-61-7170.
Spain trip
A trip to Ole, Spain, takes place May 24-27. The cost is 255 Euros per person in a double room, 325 Euros for a single room, 135 Euros for one child age 2-11 and 190 Euros for a second child. Normandy trip
A trip to Normandy, France, takes place May 24-27. The cost is 335 Euros per person in a double room, 430 Euros for a single room, 200 Euros per child age 2-11. Tier II Saber Sprint
The Tier II 5K obstacle course and mud run takes place May 24. The cost is $100 or 80 Euro per team of five. Costumes are encouraged. A free barbeque takes place after the event. For more information, call DSN 452-7308 or 06565-61-7308.
Euro Disneyland Paris

Bake Sale

360 Fit Boot Camp
A 360 Fit Boot Camp class takes place May 29-June 26. The classes take place 6 a.m., 9 a.m., 4p.m., and 5:15 p.m, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the outdoor basketball court. The cost is $135 per person. For more information, call DSN 452-6634 or 06565-61-6634.
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Operation Warm Heart Silent Auction

Bundles for Babies
A Bundles for Babies class is being held 1-3:30 p.m., June 6 at the airman and family readiness center. All expectant parents are encouraged to attend for networking opportunities, financial tips and knowledge on caring for newborns. Active-duty families receive an infant Layette set. Extreme Weekend
An Austrian Adventure trip takes place June 6-9. The cost is $745 dollars for tandem paragliding and $945 dollars for tandem skydiving. Theme for Air Force Ball
This year's Air Force Ball is in need of a Spangdahlem or Air Force history related theme. All submissions are due June 7. The winner will be selected June 12. Themes can be submitted to either kellie.wilson@us.af.mil or poun.thies@us.af.mil.

Father's Day Brunch

Free Father's Day Breakfast

Austrian Hut to Hut
A hike in Austria takes place June 20-23. The cost is $650 per person and includes three overnights in a mountain hut, breakfast and dinner, safety gear, and a guide. Participants should have good hiking clothes, boots, a backpack and be in good physical condition without fear of heights. This hike is 18 and older, and reservations must be made by May 13. London Express

Zell Wine Fest

Tabletop gaming

Music theme nights

Texas Hold'Em
Texas Hold'Em will be held from 6-10 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday at the Saber Sports Lounge. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Players can only participate one day a week. Dart leagues

Family golf

Healthy relationships class

Civil Air Patrol
The Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron Spangdahlem meets 6-9 p.m. every Thursday from in building 67 on Bitburg. Cadets ages 13-18 years learn about military leadership, aerospace, discipline, respect and team work. The cadets also participate in special activities with active Air
Force units on base and learn about Air Force jobs and careers. The cadet honor guard performs at WWII remembrance ceremonies throughout the local area and even in Belgium and Luxembourg. Golf Instructions

Bi-weekly Saber Toastmasters meeting
Toastmaster's meetings take place bi-weekly 6-7 p.m., Wednesday at the Spangdahlem Conference Center. Saber Toastmasters is a local chapter of the international Toastmasters organization specializing in improving communication and developing leadership skills. The Saber Toastmasters meetings are a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their communication abilities in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Auto hobby center car cleaning services
Car cleaning services are available to ID-card holders at the 52nd Force Support Squadron Auto Hobby Center. The cleaning services the auto hobby center provides are a basic agricultural cleaning, agricultural detailing, deluxe auto cleaning, exterior cleaning and interior detailing. The agricultural cleanings guarantee vehicles pass the agricultural auto shipping inspection. Prices vary based on time it takes to cleans vehicles. Dog social hour every Tuesday
Dog social hour takes place 6 - 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Pet Spa. The cost for this is $5, and a dog trainer will be there to answer questions. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and have up-to-date rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccinations on file with the Pet Spa. Call and prepay 24 hours in advance. Texas Hold'em

Dog classes

Smoothie bar

Single Parent Network
The Single Parent Network events take place 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Spangdahlem's Airman and Family Readiness Center Bldg. 307, the third Friday of every month. The AFRC staff provides free lunch. Club catering

52nd FW Singing Sabers
Do you like to sing? Do you play an instrument? Why not join the Singing Sabers! The Singing Sabers need new musical talent to help bring that special touch to Spangdahlem's military ceremonies. Practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 -6:30 p.m. in the Base Chapel. All active-duty, civilians, dependents, retirees and local nationals are welcome to attend. Doggy day care

Jiu Jitsu
The Skelton Memorial Fitness Center offers Jiu Jitsu classes every Tuesday and Thursday in the aerobics room. Class for children 6-11 years old begins at 5:15 p.m., children 12-17 years old at 6:15 p.m. and women at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $110 for eight classes. Two to three additional family members can participate for $60 per person. A fourth family member can participate free.
Taiji Quan class

Tae Kwon Do

Monthly Tier II meeting
The Tier II monthly meeting takes place at 11 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Brick House. Tier II is a professional organization focused on developing the leadership, management and mentorship skills of staff sergeant selects, staff sergeants and technical sergeants. Lunch is provided. DUI poster contest
A poster-design contest is now ongoing. Airmen Against Drunk Driving is calling all artists to submit poster designs to curb Spangdahlem's drunk driving. Three winners will be chosen every month to be displayed on the Spangdahlem Facebook page, and the first-place design will run as a logon slide until the following month.
