Tree Lighting Event

Bastogne Historical Walk
There will be a historical walk of the Battle of the Bulge Dec. 14. Reenactors will be present and the walks will be present and the walks consist of 3, 5, and 7 kilometers. Sign up at the Coffee Mill or call 01765656539101 for more details.

Listen to "The Greatest Hits" of Simple Minds at 8 p.m., Dec. 12, at the Trier Europa hall, located on Kaiserstraße 29, 54290 Trier. Tickets are 53,75 Euro and can be obtained via http://www.eventim.de.
Enjoy listening to a holiday concert by the German Tenors, featuring Johannes Gross and Luis del Rio, at 8 p.m., Dec. 19 at the Traben Saint Nikolaus church, located on Weihertorplatz 2, in Traben-Trarbach. Among the performers will be the solo singer Sonora Vaice and the organ player, Vera Hirschfeld. On schedule are classical compositions to include popular Christmas songs. Enjoy listening to a gospel concert by the Hetzerath "Sounds of Christmas Vol. 2" at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Saint Geoerg church in Sehlem. On schedule are modern gospel songs and holiday tunes. Tickets can be obtained now at the Hetzerath Volksbank or at the door starting at 6:30 p.m.
Enjoy a visit to a local flea market Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Kroev Weinbrunnen hall, or Dec. 7, either inside the Trier Messepark hall or inside the Konz Rewe Parkhaus. Flea markets are typically open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Enjoy listening to a holiday concert by the Fabian Ostermann Trio at 5 p.m., Dec. 15 at the Traben-Trarbach Loretta hall. The title is "Classical Christmas meets Jazzy Christmas". The concert features a variety of classical Christmas songs, modern music and jazz improvisations. Entry is 12 Euros per person at the door. German Tenors singers
Reserve your ticket now to a concert by the German Tenors, who will perform "Glowing Lights" at 8 p.m., Dec. 19 at the Saint Nikolaus church of Traben-Trarbach. The Duo Johannes Gross and Luis del Rio will perform together with the solo singer Sonora Vaice and the organ player, Vera Hirschfeld. The Trier Weihnachtszirkus Christmas Circus will be in town again this year over the holidays. Information on what can be expected this year will be available on the Spangdahlem website, following the Thanksgiving holiday.

An Irish Chrstimas party takes place at 8 p.m., Dec. 7 at the Bad-Bertrich concert hall. Tickets are 10 Euros and can be obtained via http://www.ticket-regional.de/ or at the entrance door from 7:30 a.m. on.
A new Years Feast is offered Dec. 31 at the "Alte Burg" castle hall in 54340 Longuich, located on Maximinstrasse 39. Cost is 61,50 Euros for adults, 28,50 Euros for children, up to age 12 and 34 Euros for children, up to age 14. Cost includes a knight's meal and plenty of entertainment.
Come see the skills of these amazing performers at the Skelton Memorial Fitness Center Dec. 4, tickets are free and will be handed out at 4:30 pm, all attendees must be present to pick up thier ticket. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the show starting at 7:30 pm.
Youth Basketball & Cheer Registration

Music theme nights

Texas Hold'Em will be held from 6-10 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday at the Saber Sports Lounge. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Players can only participate one day a week. Civil Air Patrol
The Spangdahlem Cadet Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, meets every Thursday night 1800-2030 in building 139 (Third Floor). Youth between the ages of 13 and 18 may join the Civil Air Patrol. Bi-weekly Saber Toastmasters meeting
Saber Toastmasters meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Spangdahlem Conference Room (inside Kuhl Beans) at 6 p.m. Saber Toastmasters is a local chapter of the international Toastmasters organization specializing in improving communication and developing leadership skills. The Saber Toastmasters meetings are a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their communication abilities in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Auto hobby center car cleaning services
Car cleaning services are available to ID-card holders at the 52nd Force Support Squadron Auto Hobby Center. The cleaning services the auto hobby center provides are a basic agricultural cleaning, agricultural detailing, deluxe auto cleaning, exterior cleaning and interior detailing. The agricultural cleanings guarantee vehicles pass the agricultural auto shipping inspection. Prices vary based on time it takes to cleans vehicles. Dog social hour every Tuesday
Dog social hour takes place 6 - 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Pet Spa. The cost for this is $5, and a dog trainer will be there to answer questions. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and have up-to-date rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccinations on file with the Pet Spa. Call and prepay 24 hours in advance. Single Parent Network
The Single Parent Network events take place 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Spangdahlem's Airman and Family Readiness Center Bldg. 307, the third Friday of every month. The AFRC staff provides free lunch. 52nd FW Singing Sabers:
Do you like to sing? Do you play an instrument? Why not join the Singing Sabers! The Singing Sabers need new musical talent to help bring that special touch to Spangdahlem's military ceremonies. Practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 -6:30 p.m. in the Base Chapel. All active-duty, civilians, dependents, retirees and local nationals are welcome to attend. Ditching the Dorms
A class for Airman getting ready to leave the dorms takes place 1-2 p.m.,

Short Game Golf Clinic

Teen glow bowling

Doggy day care
The Pet Spa offers doggy day care Monday to Friday. Drop off is 7 - 10 a.m., and pickup is between 2 - 6 p.m. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available. Reservations are required. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Skelton Memorial Fitness Center offers Jiu Jitsu classes every Tuesday and Thursday in the aerobics room. Class for children 6-11 years old begins at 5:15 p.m., children 12-17 years old at 6:15 p.m. and women at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $110 for eight classes. Two to three additional family members can participate for $60 per person. A fourth family member can participate free.
Taiji Quan class

Monthly Tier II meeting
The Tier II monthly meeting takes place at 11 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Brick House. Tier II is a professional organization focused on developing the leadership, management and mentorship skills of staff sergeant selects, staff sergeants and technical sergeants. Lunch is provided. DUI poster contest
A poster-design contest is now ongoing. Airmen Against Drunk Driving is calling all artists to submit poster designs to curb Spangdahlem's drunk driving. Three winners will be chosen every month to be displayed on the Spangdahlem Facebook page, and the first-place design will run as a logon slide until the following month.
