Stores will be open between 1 and 6 p.m. March 29 in Cochem as part of the annual Cochem Easter market to take place March 28-29.
Stores will be open in Konz from 1-6 p.m., Sunday, March 29 for weekend shoppers.
A public Easter egg shooting competition, sponsored by the Preist sports shooting association, takes place at 11 a.m. March 29 in Preist. Coffee and cake will be available for purchase at 2 p.m. Event location is the "Auf der Kaul" shooting stand in Preist.

See the "The Man of La Mancha" musical by Dale Wassermann with music by Mitch Leigh at 8 p.m. March 27 at Trier's City Theater. The musical will be performed in the German language. Tickets, which will sell fast, can be purchased from 6 p.m. on at the door the day of the event. Enjoy the 40th Spring Market of Landscheid March 28-29 inside and outside the Lanscheid community hall. Stands will be set up offering anything from flea market items, clothes and other textiles, house hold items, outdoor and garden, decoration items, cooking spices, art and jewelry, hand-made baskets, food, beverages and more. The market is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Trier Indoor Concert Festival
"We love Trier" is the name for the 2015 Indoor Festival of Trier, March 26-28 at the Trier Messeparkhalle hall. The festival will feature the following musicians and performers: Simon Desue, Laserkraft 3D, Johnny Good, Ardian Bujupi, Tom Franke, Andy B. Jones, DJ ND, DJ Carnage 23, Freddy Freak and others. The following April flea markets are scheduled within reach and comfortable driving distance of the base: April 4 at the Irrel festival grounds on the Pruem river, at the Idar-Oberstein festival grounds, located on Vollmersbachstrasse; April 5 at the Saarbruecken Saar-Basar Parkhaus and Platz; April 11-12 inside and outside the Bitburg Auktionshalle hall, at the Daun Bahnhof, inside and outside the Hillesheim Markthalle hall, at the Kroev Weinbrunnen hall - where no new merchandise will be offered - at the Trier Messepark hall, along the Zeltingen Mosel shore; April 18 in the Zweibruecken pedestrian zone and at the Kaiserlautern festival grounds BMW Euler, April 19 in Speicher, along the Uerzig Mosel shore. outside the Idar-Oberstein Globus market, April 25 along the Kinheim Mosel shore, at the Irrel festival grounds on the Pruem river and outside the Manderscheid Heismuehle.
Fishing Season starts
The fishing season for Niederkail will start April 3 with an opening event at the Landscheid-Niederkail ponds. Starting April 3, on Sundays and holidays, people may purchase a fishing license from 7 a.m. on and enjoy fishing until 2 p.m. that day. The area will be closed for the Easter holidays.
Luxembourg Easter Market
Visit the annual Echternach easter market April 4 - 6 in Echternach located across the border when coming from Bitburg. Location for events is the Echternach historic square. The market will be open at 11 all three days of the event.
Enjoy listening to jazz concerts, sponsored by the Bitburg Jazz Club at the Bitburg Bistro Finesse, located on Brodenheckstr 13-15: April 16, featuring Hans Blues & Boogie by Hans Blues and May 7, featuring the Laura-Toenhagen-Trio with Laura Totenhagen, Felix Hauptmann and Conrad Noll. Concerts begin at 8 p.m. and entry is free.
Ancient choir music concert
Enjoy a concert featuring Tage der alten Chormusik or Days of ancient choir music at 7:30 p.m. April 11 at the Bernkastel-Kues Saint Michael Stadtkirche or city church.
Brass band spring concert
Listen to a spring concert, featuring classical and symphony music, performed by brass bands. The concert is at 8 p.m. April 18 at the Bernkastel-Kues Mosellandhalle hall. Entry is 8 Euro.
A medieval market takes place April 11-12 at the Trier Messehallen fairgrounds. The event is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 11 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 12. Among performers will be craftsmen, musicians, magicians, fire eaters, dancers and others.
The Eifel city of Pruem will host their 25th Borderland Countries' Fair April 29 through May 3. More than 170 exhibitors from far and near, featuring local handcraft and industry, services and products from the region. There will be a vast entertainment program for young and old. Opening times for all events is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Blind Guardian will be in concert April 23 at the Trier Europa hall.
Explore the Eifel
This year's Explore the Eifel German American partnership event takes place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 inside and outside Club Eifel. Many surprises will be awaiting participating base members, civilians and their families. There will be a vast entertainment program featuring around the life in the Eifel.
Nuerburgring race track events
A 24-hour car race will take place April 11-12 at the world-famous Nuerburgring race track.
The Truck Grand Prix 2015 is scheduled for June 26-28 at the Nuerburgring race track. More information will appear prior to the event.

An art road will open at noon, April 26 on Kyllburg Hochstrasse. A variety of art will be on display.
Cancer Support Group
This group is designed to give survivors, spouses, and families the support and strength to move forward together, rather than alone. Meetings are held from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Coffee Mill on the last Monday of each month. For more information please contact Amanda Atwell at 0151-2503-8980.
Spangdamen Monthly Meetings

Civil Air Patrol
The Spangdahlem Cadet Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, meets every Thursday night 1800-2030 . Youth between the ages of 13 and 18 may join the Civil Air Patrol. Bi-weekly Saber Toastmasters meeting
Saber Toastmasters meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Spangdahlem Conference Room (inside Kuhl Beans) at 6 p.m. Saber Toastmasters is a local chapter of the international Toastmasters organization specializing in improving communication and developing leadership skills. The Saber Toastmasters meetings are a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their communication abilities in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Auto hobby center car cleaning services
Car cleaning services are available to ID-card holders at the 52nd Force Support Squadron Auto Hobby Center. The cleaning services the auto hobby center provides are a basic agricultural cleaning, agricultural detailing, deluxe auto cleaning, exterior cleaning and interior detailing. The agricultural cleanings guarantee vehicles pass the agricultural auto shipping inspection. Prices vary based on time it takes to cleans vehicles. Dog social hour every Tuesday
Dog social hour takes place 6 - 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Pet Spa. The cost for this is $5, and a dog trainer will be there to answer questions. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and have up-to-date rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccinations on file with the Pet Spa. Call and prepay 24 hours in advance. 52nd FW Singing Sabers:
Do you like to sing? Do you play an instrument? Why not join the Singing Sabers! The Singing Sabers need new musical talent to help bring that special touch to Spangdahlem's military ceremonies. Practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 -6:30 p.m. in the Base Chapel. All active-duty, civilians, dependents, retirees and local nationals are welcome to attend. Ditching the Dorms

Short Game Golf Clinic

Teen glow bowling

Doggy day care
The Pet Spa offers doggy day care Monday to Friday. Drop off is 7 - 10 a.m., and pickup is between 2 - 6 p.m. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available. Reservations are required. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Skelton Memorial Fitness Center offers Jiu Jitsu classes every Tuesday and Thursday in the aerobics room. Class for children 6-11 years old begins at 5:15 p.m., children 12-17 years old at 6:15 p.m. and women at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $110 for eight classes. Two to three additional family members can participate for $60 per person. A fourth family member can participate free.
Taiji Quan class

Monthly Tier II meeting
The Tier II monthly meeting takes place at 11 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Brick House. Tier II is a professional organization focused on developing the leadership, management and mentorship skills of staff sergeant selects, staff sergeants and technical sergeants. Lunch is provided. DUI poster contest
A poster-design contest is now ongoing. Airmen Against Drunk Driving is calling all artists to submit poster designs to curb Spangdahlem's drunk driving. Three winners will be chosen every month to be displayed on the Spangdahlem Facebook page, and the first-place design will run as a logon slide until the following month.
