ROAD CONDITIONS
Road Condition Explanations - SABI 31-102, Delay, cancellation or early termination of duty or school day, 12 May 2009
Condition Green: Normal operations for all vehicles.
Condition Amber: Road conditions are hazardous. Exercise caution due to slush, snow, ice patches or decreased visibility. Wing leadership will consider delayed reporting, early release and/or cancellations.
Condition Red: Road conditions are dangerous. Prevalent icing, snow accumulation and extreme limitations on visibility may occur or be present. Mission Essential Services Only should be moving about and exercise extreme caution if you are required to drive, each unit commander will determine who their MESO personnel are. However, personnel who cannot safely report to work, due to their local community road conditions, will immediately notify their supervisor. Government owned vehicle operation should be limited to mission-essential operations.
Condition Black: Driving is prohibited except in emergency/life threatening situations. Wing leadership will disseminate specific instructions/guidance.
