U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Nathaniel Cardona, 32nd Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, positions the boom of a U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender during an airborne refueling exercise over Poland, Sept. 22, 2020. The aircraft refueled U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagles from RAF Lankenhealth and F-16 Fighting Falcons from Spangdahlem Air Base, as well as other aircraft from multiple wings within USAFE, the Air National Guard, and Poland over the course of the week during exercise Astral Knight.
