Spangdahlem AB F-16s participate in large force exercise
U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons, assigned to the 480th Fighter Squadron, fly over Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, to participate in a large force exercise within the North Sea airspace, U.K., May 27, 2020. Exercises of this nature are not new for U.S. Air Force units assigned to U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa, but with the current COVID-19 crisis participating units have identified a way to integrate multiple assets and continue training in the interest of the collective defense of the NATO alliance.
