Fighter wing supports international training exercise

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Capt. Jordan Hans, 480th Fighter Squadron pilot, readies his personal equipment here March 2 before departing for Anatolian Falcon 2012. AF12 is a weapons-training deployment geared to expanding and honing military interoperability between the U.S. and Turkish air forces. More than 250 support Airmen and 15 aircraft will participate in the exercise, which involves air missions to include interdiction, attack, air superiority, defense suppression, airlift, air refueling and reconnaissance.
