SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Motorcycle riders wait for their turn to execute maneuvers during a motorcycle safety class at the Saber driving course May 15. The course participants practiced maneuvers to include path of travel, quick stops and obstacle avoidance. The class is geared toward improving riders’ skill by performing different maneuvers on the course as well as discussing and reviewing a variety of safety information. The 52nd Fighter Wing Safety office conducts the motorcycle safety course three times monthly. U.S Air Forces in Europe regulations mandate that every motorcyclist on base must take or retake this class once every three years to keep their skillset current.
