Security forces teach Girl Scouts self defense

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Capt. Lidia Iyassu, 52nd Security Forces Squadron, instructs Girls Scouts from USA Girl Scouts Overseas at the Spangdahlem Elementary School here Aug. 21 during a summer camp. The Girl Scouts partnered with the 52nd SFS to learn techniques in identifying and reacting to strangers, basic defensive striking techniques, and strategies for getting attention during an emergency.
