AFN Europe Spangdahlem discontinues free AFN service to base residents
As of March 31, 2014, Military Family Housing (MFH) will no longer subsidize American Forces Network television service to on-base residences. To date, this basic service has been provided via a bandwidth lease contract with the internet service provider TKS. The 52nd Fighter Wing pays TKS approximately $37K each year to provide analog AFN
